When the sun shines, we receive 2 types of UV rays at the surface of our skin:
UVB:
- represents5%of the UV spectrum
- are responsible of visible effects such astanning orsunburns.

UVA:
- represent95%of the UV spectrum
- penetrate deeply on the skin layers
- are responsible of invisible effects such asoxidative stress and the decrease of skin immune defenses which lead to visible effects such asskin aging andskin cancers.

To avoid these effects andrather than overloading the skin with filters, BIODERMA has createdSUN ACTIVE DEFENSE, the high-technology sun protection, reinforced against UVA rays. It combines UV filters and a patented biological protection that improves the capacity of the skin to defend itself to help maintainlong-lasting care of itshealth in the sun and allow:

+26% Protection against oxidative stress

Directions for use

Several times a day when exposed to the sun

Step 1 Apply evenly and generously before exposure (reducing the amount of product
reduces the level of protection).

Step 2 Re-apply frequently before and after swimming, friction or sport.

Do not expose babies and young children to the sun. Over exposure to the sun
can damage the health.

Eco-design of our products: We work daily on the improvement
of our products to minimise their environmental impact: Most of our products
are made of 100% recyclable plastic. All our outerboxes are 100% recyclable and
